WELCOME
Eszterházy Károly University (Eger, Hungary), in collaboration with Plant Protection Institute, Centre for
Agricultural Research,
Hungarian Academy of Sciences (Budapest, Hungary) and
Centre for Crop Health, University of Southern Queensland (Toowoomba,
Australia), invites MSc and PhD students and postdoc researchers interested in the study of powdery mildew fungi (Erysiphales) to an exciting autumn school covering all the major
aspects of powdery mildew research. The official language of the course is English. This is the fourth Powdery Mildew School; the previous ones were organized in
2014,
2015 and
2016. Participants of the earlier workshops are welcome again in Eger.

There is no registration fee to attend the school. Participants have to book their accommodation by themselves in Eger; a few suggestions are available here. MSc and PhD students and postdocs interested in attending this course are requested to apply by completing the application form and sending it to Dr. Kálmán Zoltán Váczy (kfk@uni-eszterhazy.hu) no later than 10th July 2017 together with a proof of their current student or postdoc status. The Scientific Committee will select the applicants who are invited to attend the summer school. Please note that the number of participants is limited. Priority will be given to those applicants whose MSc or PhD thesis or postdoc work is related to powdery mildew research or closely related topics. All applicants will receive an email notification concerning the outcome of their applications by 17th July 2017. |
